I went to do this deal today, and it’s not in the ad or marked on the shelves. I asked an employee about it, turns out it was in a special coupon flyer that was sent out to rewards customers. So you need to have a rewards card. But the manager just had them scan the “secret” coupon flyer at the register for me since I didn’t have the flyer.

Hi! Some info I received on this deal: I tried to find information about this offer at the Staples website and was unsuccessful, even after signing up to become a Staples rewards member (which was easy).
I then called a local Staples store (I live in Colorado Springs, CO) and talked to an extremely helpful employee who told me that this particular deal was only good Tuesday thru Thursday of this week.
He also said that they do NOT mail checks, the rewards you receive go into your account which then you are able to spend on anything in the store, which is conflicting information from what is on this site. The clerk also said that different people receive different coupons based on their buying habits.
I just wanted to let you know that I was not able to access this deal after all. Bummer. But at least now I am a rewards member and hopefully will receive these types of offers.
In the future, if there is a deal like the one you described, would you be able to include a Coupon Code for us if you have one? This would be extremely helpful in trying to redeem these very specific offers/coupons.

There was no coupon code, just a printable coupon to take into the store.
I’m sorry some people seem to be upset about this deal, but most deals are time sensitive, so if don’t act on them the day I post them, they are often gone.
Don’t shoot the messenger….just trying to be helpful when I can. I have a full time job and 2 young kids to take are of, so I can’t stay on top of the deals after I post them.
Obviously, I get nothing out of this other than trying to help you pack shoe boxes.
Also, the link you provided did not go to a specific coupon but rather to the generic Staples website.
The link used to go to the coupons, but i think they took them down. They were only available the day I posted them and the day after. And the coupon said it was valid through 11/26.
I had no problem whatsoever with this deal. I used the links to the coupons, and bought two reams of paper. The rebate will come back to me as a check, not store credit.
